Since retiring from the workforce in his 40’s he has authored 2 leading books on multi-family investing, been approached by several reality TV shows, and is a nationally sought-after speaker. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs traveling in their RV.

Mark has been investing in real estate in Connecticut and Florida for several years. A highly successful flipper and wholesaler Mark is an accomplished author, speaker, CPA and ran a billion dollar per year loan business that was highly regarded on Wall Street.

Mark enjoys traveling and spending time with his family at his second home in Florida.

Ed Mathews

Ed spent 25+ years working for cool silicon valley start-ups. He bought his first rental property in 2010 and built his investing business, Clark St Properties, part-time. 

In 2018, Ed left the corporate rat race and now invests in both flips and rental properties in Connecticut, Vermont, and Rhode Island.  Ed is also a partner in, Elevista, a rapidly growing Property Management company in Vermont, as well as an angel investor in two technology start-ups.

When not chasing real estate and tech start-up deals, Ed spends his time with his wife, Patricia, their two daughters, and their dogs, Caroline and Abbie.

Rich was hooked on real estate investment after a challenging, sleeves-up first project in 2011. The renewed property created enduring change in its neighborhood, and this ignited a passion to uplift communities, one property at a time. Rich's career spans non-profit and business environments where he specialized in bringing together the right people for the right purpose.

After years of side projects, Rich formally launched his real estate investment company, Five Eight Holdings, in 2018. He has served on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations dedicated to children's welfare, economic empowerment, social services, and education.

When not at the basketball court with his son, Rich invests in and transforms homes and rental properties for renovation, sale, and community.
